The Gates of Arcadia - The March

"The Gates of Arcadia" represent one of the more exciting challenges in my professional career. They exist through the support of an insightful man who allowed and provided for the intellectual aesthic freedom of this project. The gates were inspired by Ghibertis idea of using local Florentine citizens and friends to populate his gates as saints and sinners. The panels on the gates portray characters that are, in reality, players in my life. Some players are now gone however are remembered in these panels. Like "The Procession", "The March" includes "The March of the Men" and "The March of the Women". The panels along the top of the gates are called "The Spectators". This project is not yet finished. There is a row of panels along the bottom for the last players to be added.
