Truckee River Walk - Reno, NV

The "Truckee River Walk", in the City of Reno was commissioned as a public art project by the Reno Redevelopment Agency. It consists of several panels of creatures native to the area, elk, eagles, deer, ravens, coyotes and the like. The sculpture is a functioning fountain. As the water runs down the panels, it creates an extraordinary effect that can really only be appreciated in person.

The water not only runs through the panels but also emerges from the mouths of several sculpted fountain heads. The soothing sound of the water and the beauty of the creatures is an experience for all. We hope if ever passing through Reno, you have the time to enjoy this monument to wildlife as can be brought out only by John Battenberg.
